About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and independent HR & Admin Officer to manage talent hiring and employee engagement for our Philippines branch while overseeing end-to-end HR and administrative responsibilities. This is a standalone role (one-man army) where you will be the go-to person for recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and office administration, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

Talent Hiring & Recruitment

  • Head-hunt and source top talent through professional networks, referrals, and advanced sourcing techniques.
  • Leverage specialized talent acquisition platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobstreet, Indeed, GitHub, and niche job boards to identify and engage high-quality candidates
  • Screen resumes, conduct structured pre-screening calls, and coordinate technical/behavioral interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer closure, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hard-to-fill roles.
  • Focus on hiring quality professionals for long-term business impact – this is not a BPO setup; the role emphasizes attracting and retaining skilled talent.
  • Ensure hiring SLAs and business-critical time-to-hire targets are consistently met
Employee Engagement & Relations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all PH employee questions and concerns.
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1 syncs with employees and raise concerns to management.
  • Plan, organize, and host employee engagement activities (e.g., Happy Hour every Friday, team-building events, wellness programs).
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee morale, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Maintain records of grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.

HR Operations & Payroll

  • Handle onboarding, orientation, and exit formalities.
  • Manage payroll timesheets and provide relevant data to finance.
  • Track salary increases and support regularization for PH employees.
  • Guarantee compliance with Philippines labor laws and statutory reporting.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits and employment records.

Administration & Office Management

  • Oversee vendor relationships (contractors, lawyers, service providers).
  • Manage office supplies, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with IT for equipment allocation and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure smooth office operations and facility maintenance.
  • Accomplish other admin task assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in human resources and administration.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in talent hiring.
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates 
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting). 
  • Working under tight deadlines, to close the positions.
  • Degree in Human Resources, business administration, the management or related field.
  • Must be able to work from 8pm to 5am PH time.
  • Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular).
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Must be able to handle sensitive information with confidentially. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, always growing/professional/competitive environment.
  • Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
